VSS surgeons offer the FDA-cleared Endoluminal Laser Ablation of the Greater Saphenous Vein (ELAS) procedure in their office utilizing the Dornier Laser. This minimally invasive procedure provides a quick, one-time therapy that causes little or no side effects. The ELAS procedure has been shown to be highly effective in eliminating varicose veins. The utilization of the laser in addition to traditional chemical sclerotherapy has also been shown to be effective in the treatment of spider veins – offering an enhanced and longer-term cosmetic effect.

Insurances Accepted: VSS is a participating provider in many of the HMO and PPO insurance networks. However, the varicose vein services requested may be cosmetic and/or not covered by the patient’s insurance. We will notify the patient of their financial responsibility and required pre-payment for services prior to any procedures being performed.
